WWWWWW #9 - Chadzilla

It's another exciting edition of:

Yes, World Wide Web Wacky Wing Wednesday. WWWWWW. This is where I will surf the Web, and find other people talking about chicken wings. The world is full of chicken wing stories, wacky and otherwise. Recipes, restaurant reviews, eating contests or whatever. Today's Blog relating to wings in some shape or form:

A Miami based chef from New Orleans, the author of this blog, with his fellow chef's (and family) produce Hotel cuisine, but are always striving to experiment with food. It is through these experiments that I came across one of his posts, one something I have always thought of in the back of my head, but never dare attempt (let alone know how to acquire), Buffalo Frog Legs:

There's no recipe, just blogging about them being served. They look crunchy and saucy. The little toes deep fried give my conservative food side a little cause to pause, but I would definitely try these.

Another unique idea for 'wings' are Catfish Wings. Yes your heard right. And I love his comments on the concept: "the idea of a fried catfish with chicken skin sounded like the ultimate in Southern food... a symbol of all that's good in the world."

Or trying out Momofuku wings:

And that's not the only posts on wings. Any professional chef who works on experimenting with wings is aces in my books. The Catfish Wing really inspires me to try something unique like that . . . and the frog's legs, c'mon - it tastes like chicken anyways right?
