WWWWWW #33 - The Wolfe Pit

Yes, World Wide Web Wacky Wing Wednesday. WWWWWW. This is where I will surf the Web, and find other people talking about chicken wings. The world is full of chicken wing stories, wacky and otherwise. Recipes, restaurant reviews, eating contests or whatever. Today's Blog relating to wings in some shape or form:

How can you not love a blog who's writer photoshopped his face on a whole que'd pig? Larry Wolfe writes his food blog from Virginia. My attention to The Wolfe Pit came from Randy Clemens @ The Sriracha Cookbook from the last WWWWWW.

The blog is mostly Wolfe cooking up some tasty looking food. Personally, I was drawn to the wings, naturally.

'Cherry Sriracha Sauce' wings. I'm just drooling over the photos of smoked wings in a such a sweet and spicy sounding sauce!

The "cherry sricacha sauce" was inspired by an earlier incarnation: "Orange Marmalade Sriracha Wings." The wings look so crispy, and the colour is just awesome. And with a sauce described as "'candy like' glaze", how could these not be good?

Not feeling the spicy fruit wings? What about Sticky Wings? BBQ wings in a sweet sticky BBQ sauce. Made with Wolfe Rub that you can purchase from Larry.

Go check out The Wolfe Pit today. But warning, if you are viewing on an empty stomach, you will get hungry.

Going to check him out now. I don't recognize the name but we must roll in close quarters because I know who makes his kick ass Weber grates.

The cherry sriracha wings are going to get a try for sure.
