Catching Up: PC and The Big Slice

Back-log and frustration at not knowing how to upload pictures has prevented recent uploads. So this week, 2 reviews for the price of one!!!

REVIEW 1

PRESIDENTS CHOICE HOT & SPICY WINGS
To make sure some omnivores weren't ignored by our host at
this past weekend's Welch Dinner Party, a package of
these fire-red wings were brought out.

Put straight from package to the BBQ, these wings cooked
up nicely. The nice blend of hot sauce and BBQ cookery
led to a tasty part of a much larger feast of shish-kabobs,
Burgers, garlic bread, and Spaghetti ala Randy ala Zhers.
Surprisingly, these wings had a kick, leading some members
of the group to not be able to finish them. While on the
BBQ the orangish-red glow of the sauce was very tantilizing,
but by the time they got to the table, they had that nice
BBQ skin.

So if you are at home and want wings from the Freezer,
the President makes the right choice.

REVIEW 2
THE BIG SLICE

This past Monday, after leaving class and without dinner
in the oven at 10pm, I decided to return to a place I
haven't been in a long long time. The Big Slice. Open really
late everynight on Yonge and Gerrard here in Toronto,
The Big Slice has great pizza, and as I find out, good wings.

The wings are simple but good. They follow a simple recipe:
take wings, deep fry for 5 minutes, then add sauce. The sauce?
simple buffalo style sauce. Nothing special, but done right.
And with a slice of cheese pizza about the size of a frying
pan, a great late-night meal.
