wing deal @ Metro's on Thursdays

Everyone can appreciate a good wing deal. I was at a Metro grocery store today and saw this sign near the entrance:

15 wings (hot or cold) for $6.99 Thursday nights 4-9pm.

I can't speak to the quality of these wings and I feel confidant that the stores near me will sell out in minutes preventing me from trying them. But maybe some of you will have luck and let me know?

I haven't had these lately, only for the reason that I've never had a good experience with grocery store wings. The fact that they sit in a steam bath usually leaves them quite soggy and combined with rather bland sauces they are quite unpalatable.

The better deal is the night when they put their rotisserie chickens on sale. There's usually a line up for them at my local store!

@Ricky - Ya, the only redeamable quality for store wings is they are super tender, but your bang on for everything else.
