#nonwingsunday = rotisserie fail BBQ Log #4 - last week broke out the rotisserie for the first time. Brined the bird, gave her a rub, got her on the spit. It was going good. I left her alone for a bit, but when I did check, one side was all chared! The nut came loose and the chicken stopped spinning exposing one side only to the rotisserie burner. Bollox. Then to make things worse, in the dark I raised the temp instead of lowering it. Suffice it to say, the bird wasn't juicy, that fantastic rub I made was chared, & it made me grumpy. The wife liked it at least.
